
Drawing 3D core-shell structures could be a hard nut to crack for many beginners. Here I share an easy way to do it, just follow a few steps:
1. Draw each part of the core-shell structure separately. The shape can be drawn using either the "Insert - Shapes" or "Shape Format - Merge Shapes". These tools can generate graphs of any shape.

2. Add gradient color for each shape. For instance, the colors of each part in the first example are shown below:

3. After drawing each part separately, combine them together and then you will get a core-shell structure.
